Special Thanks:  Thank you very much to the brave GYLI Students who lead the "5 C's of Cultural Awareness" discussions with the 7th Grade Orientation Classes over the last two weeks.  What a great opportunity to synthesize and evaluate what we learned so far in the program.  I know that I learn a lot each time I partricipate these important discussions.  If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!  Your support is appreciated.  Mr. Connor

Leadership Learning Plans
What has YOUR cohort done lately to advance the Leadership Learning Plan which you developed at your Summer Institute?  One of the best parts of GYLI is making friends and having fun in diverse places, but when we "bring it home" and apply what we learned, it is phenomenal!  Make time soon to meet as your student group, and invite your faculty sponsor to sit in on your meeting.  It is not too late to implement more of your LLP.  Look for opportunities to make the world a better place by applying what you learned with GYLI.    Mr. Connor
